Hey hey! I’m so excited to team up with you to pull off something that’s going to be absolutely incredible.
The Gifts&Business w/ Cricut is a 3-day event to teach Cricut crafters how to create and sell projects with Cricut.
We’re looking for speakers in two catergories
- Craft category – to share craft tutorials
- Business category – to teach how to sell handmade crafts
On this page, you’ll find all kinds of resources meant to make your life as a speaker as easy as possible and answer any questions you might have. If you run into a question I didn’t answer, email me at [email protected] or ask over in the Facebook group.
If you’ve been a part of events including webinars, summits, or other collaborative offerings and found that they didn’t go so smoothly or benefit you as a speaker, I encourage you to check out what my past speakers have had to say!
As a speaker, you’ll also get free access to the Gifts&Business VIP Pass!

How It’ll All Work
Let’s do a quick rundown of how this event will work.
The summit will run from Sept 1-3. Presentations will include 20-30 minutes of content (with up to a 2-minute freebie/paid pitch) and a chat in the Facebook group.
While the presentations themselves are pre-recorded, all speakers would be required to answer questions about their presentations in the Facebook group.
Along with the live presentations, there will be a Facebook group for attendees to hang out in, hold each other accountable, and ask questions. If attendees have good questions while your presentation is going on, you’ll be able to go live in the Facebook group for a bit of an encore to answer those questions, connect with the attendees, and provide even more value.
The additional Facebook live is not required.
Leading up to the summit, we’ll have two weeks of promotion. You’ll be provided with email swipe copy, social media swipe copy, and social media graphics to make it all easy! I’ll even have a suggested posting/sending schedule for you to make promo easy to outsource to a VA.
During the promotion phase, as the summit is running, and for a week after the summit is complete, we’ll also be promoting the Gifts VIP Pass. This includes an all-access pass for the replays, 1-month membership to my course and bonus product contributions by the speakers. This will provide immense value to our attendees, while making the work of promoting and creating a presentation worthwhile by allowing you to bring in affiliate commissions. Yay!
After the summit, I will offer my SVGs on Desktop Course, to attendees who have shown interest. You will earn a 20% commission on any sales from attendees you’ve referred, which will come to a payout of $20 per sale.

What I’ll Need From You
So this all sounds great, but what kind of work does it require of you? Let’s chat about it! My goal is to make this all as easy as humanly possible so we can all have a blast while providing great value and growing our businesses.
1. BASIC INFORMATION
The first thing I’ll need is some very basic information from you so I can finish up our registration page and Speakers page.
Once you give me the thumbs up that you’re in, I’ll send you a link where you can upload all this information easily.
2. PRESENTATION SLOT SCHEDULED
The next thing I’ll need is for you to schedule your presentation slot! Click here to see the list of times that are available and to schedule yours. (Slots are first-come first-served so if you have a tight schedule be sure to grab your spot right away)
While your presentation will be pre-recorded, you’ll still be required to be in the Facebook group on the day of your presentation to answer questions and connect with attendees.
3. PRESENTATION
Next up is your presentation! This is a 20-30 minute pre-recorded presentation specifically geared towards CRICUT CRAFTERS who want to learn to create projects to give as gifts or to sell.
We’re looking for unique sell-able Cricut craft tutorials in the craft category .
For the business category, we want presentations focused on selling handmade crafts.
Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they’ve really learned something, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they’re missing something that they need to buy from you asap.
With that being said, you have your choice of the following presentation formats:
- Slides
- No slides (just your gorgeous/handsome face)
- A mixture of the two
- simple video tutorial
No matter what format you choose, you are free to use your presentation however you’d like in the future.
Your presentation should include great, actionable content. Here’s the suggested format:
- A quick introduction
- An overview of your topic
- Where people go wrong with your topic and tend to overcomplicate it
- Teaching section
- Specific action steps (with the goal of simplifying their existing process)
- Up to a 3-minute freebie pitch
- Talk about the VIP Pass product that you contributed and also encourage people to upgrade to the Pass.
- Include questions for attendees to answer in the chat box throughout to boost engagement
Presentations are due by July 20, 2023.
Find a PDF download with all this info here.
4. Gifts&Business VIP Pass CONTRIBUTION
The Gifts Crafts VIP Pass will be a huge addition to the presentations we’re running. To make it even more valuable and to give you an additional way to collect attendee email addresses, I’ll ask each of you to provide one resource to add. This includes things like:
- Templates
- Workbooks
- Courses (big or small)
- 1-month memberships
- eBooks
Note: I expect this to convert well so I do not recommend contributing any 1:1 offers.
It’s totally up to you to decide whether you’d like to create something new or provide something you already have. While this isn’t required, it’s highly encouraged that you participate.
Anyone who does contribute a premium resource (aka not something you’re giving away for free somewhere else) will get a 50% affiliate commission on sales, rather than 40%. It’s also an opportunity to collect hundreds of extra email addresses as attendees claim your offer.
This should be a product that you usually sell for a price (not a freebie).
Information for these resources is due on July 1st. You’ll receive a questionnaire to fill out closer to that time to make passing the information to me nice and simple.
5. FREEBIE
The best way to get the most out of the summits is to share a link to your most popular freebie so attendees can sign up for your email list. You’ll have the option to share the link in the form.
6. PRODUCT FOR DAILY GIVEAWAY
We’ll be running daily giveaways in the group to boost engagement. This is another chance for you to boost your sign-ups by offering a paid product as a giveaway prize. This is totally optional.
7. PROMOTION
Let’s get to the MOST important part. The power of an online summit comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.
Because of that, everyone is encouraged to share on social media and to email their lists during the promotion period, starting on Aug 7, 2023.
You’ll want to share using your affiliate link (which you can set up here) so you can get in on the 40% commission that will come from any Gift & Business Access Pass sales (50% if you’ve contributed a premium bonus).
You’ll find swipe copy and graphics in the Resource Vault below.

Affiliate Details
While summits are great for overall visibility and making new connections, a little extra income never hurts either, right?
That’s exactly why I’ve set up an affiliate program for the Gifts VIP Pass where you’ll receive a commission from all sales from traffic you refer to the event. Payouts will be made by Sep 25.
The commission structure is as follows:
- 40% for all speakers
- 50% for all speakers who include a premium bonus
The pricing structure will be:
- $39/$29 for 15 minutes after initial registration
- $49/$39 from Sep 1-3
- $69/$59 from Sep 4
To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income, the Resource Vault includes things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics. However, you’re more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own Facebook ads.
Just remember to use your affiliate link, which you can create or look up here.
As with all affiliate promotions, be sure to disclose that you’re an affiliate when sharing with your audience.
- You’ll receive an additional 20% commission if anyone signs up for my course SVGs on Desktop/SVGs on iPad
- You will also receive 20% commission ($399) for any attendee who joins my SVG Superstar Coaching Program
